About Our Chairman of the Board & President
Rev. Bachus is a third-generation Baptist Pastor who has been involved in the faith community since childhood. He grew up in Kansas City, where his academic performance earned him a full scholarship to Prairie View A&M University in Texas.
The 400 Foundation aims to change the current lexicon of career aspirations for children of color and advocates for policy changes to allow Black People more access to jobs, business contracts and capital in development and construction. The 400 Foundation came out the gate with big legislative wins in 2019 and new partnerships with the state legislators.
In October 2017 Rev. Bachus was wed to the former Brittany E. Kess at The Abyssinian Baptist Church. Rev. Bachus is first and foremost a preacher of the Gospel who lives by the creed “woe is me if I do not preach the gospel.”
