PURPOSE: To craft a 2020 Economic and Legislative Agenda that moves Black and disenfranchised New Yorkers FORWARD from the 400th Anniversary of Slavery in North America (1619-2019). To build upon and cater the New Deal Legislation of President Franklin D. Roosevelt which ushered the nation out of economic depression into an era of unprecedented growth, but by enlarge excluded black families. To facilitate private and community solutions for public problems long unaddressed and unsolved across New York State.
